One day while vacationing at the beach together with their children, Jen Odell & Rita Vescara complained about how messy and difficult it was to apply sunscreen on their children. Together they thought about creating a better way to apply sunscreen for small children and for people who required frequent applications of sunscreen. The application had to be fast, easy, effective, and mess free. Suddenly they had the epiphany of applying sunscreen lotion on a wipe.
Two years after the launch of Shady Day, Jen & Rita won the prestigious NAPPA Honors award for their Daily Sun Protection Wipes SPF 30.
